How long does it take to recover from a breast augmentation?

Initial recovery usually takes 1 to 2 weeks, although the swelling and minor adjustments may last for several more weeks. During this time, it is important to avoid physical exertion and to follow medical instructions.

When will I see the results of my breast augmentation?

Although you may see a big difference in the first few months, final results of a breast augmentation usually appear between six months and a year after surgery. By this time, any residual swelling should be completely gone, and the texture and appearance of the breasts will look natural and balanced.

Can you increase breast size with your own fat?

Yes, the breast augmentation with own fat is an option known as lipofilling. It involves transferring fat from other areas of the body to the breasts to increase their volume naturally. However, The amount of increase is more limited compared to implants.

Does hyaluronic acid help to enlarge breasts?

NO, hyaluronic acid is not suitable for this procedure. To obtain a visible breast augmentation, extreme amounts of hyaluronic acid would be needed, which would also be reabsorbed by the body after a few months. This procedure would be much more expensive than a conventional augmentation mammoplasty, making it impracticable and economically unfeasible.

Can augmentation mammoplasty be combined with other procedures?

Yes, it is possible to combine breast augmentation with other cosmetic procedures, such as mastopexy (breast lift), Liposuction or Abdominoplasty, depending on the patient's aesthetic goals. This combination, sometimes referred to as “Mommy Makeover”, seeks to improve multiple areas in a single intervention.
